IDEATE 2026 brings IMII’s minerals company members, post-secondary institutions, and research organizations together to identify challenges within the industry that are ripe for innovative, applied research solutions.
The essence of IDEATE lies in the ideation phase—a collaborative and open environment where participants are encouraged to challenge the status quo and generate fresh, unconventional ideas.
IDEATE is an opportunity for research faculty and students from Canadian Light Source, University of Regina, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, member Regional Colleges, Hatch, Saskatchewan Research Council, and Rockford Engineering along with our P2INACLE partners – SAIT, NAIT, Red Deer Polytechnic, Red River College, and Northwestern Polytechnic, to engage together to learn about and discuss problem areas identified by the minerals industry which they believe are amenable to applied research with the potential to lead to the development of innovative solutions.
IDEATE topics and agenda are forthcoming. Registration will open at that time.
